Applicants for the Technician position must have a minimum of 5 years installation and service experience in all phases of IP Video Surveillance and Access Control Systems.
All Applicants must have a clean driving record, excellent attendance record and be willing to submit to a drug test / background check.
Requirements for this opportunity:
• Minimum 5 years successful installation or system service/repair experience in IP Video/Access Control
• Be familiar with a wide variety of IP cameras and video management platforms
• Be familiar with a wide variety of networked access control systems
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications and operations manuals
• Be able to provide full service troubleshooting & repair of systems in an efficient & professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, material used, and the nature of any problem encountered or identified with the system
• Professional manner with external and internal customers
• Ability to work overtime as required and participate in on-call schedule
• Must maintain a clean, professional image personally and in your vehicle
• Participate in 1-3 vendor trainings a year
• Attend monthly in house training sessions
• Meet or exceed the “KB Way” expectations of professionalism
• Lead the planning and implementation of projects
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record
