Kenton Brothers has always been dedicated to the success of your security. For well over 100 years, we have had security technicians in the field. Today, we’re stepping up to a new level of service. KB is dedicating a team of security technicians who are ready to help at a moment’s notice. The Remote Services Group, or RSG for short, is standing by to help with your security needs. This team significantly reduces the amount of time required to support your systems without requiring a technician to come to your location.
What can I expect from the Remote Services Group?
You can expect an immediate response to your issues that can be fixed without sending a technician on site. The RSG member will connect with you, diagnose your issue and remote into your system and correct your issue.
How am I charged for RSG services?
If you have a maintenance service agreement in place, many times there is no additional charge for RSG services. If you do not have an MSA, then RSG services are billed on an hourly basis, billed in 15 minute increments.
What kind of issues can be handled remotely?
Many of our commercial security systems are connected to the internet. And many of the commonly reported issues can be corrected through a remote connection to those systems.
Here are just a few examples of things that can be done remotely:
- Helping our customers operate their system such as adding a person to access control, exporting video, remote arming an alarm.
- Resolve issues with systems like cameras not connected or doors not unlocking.
- Modifications to system programming such as alarm code changes, changing where an alert is sent, or changing motion detection parameters.
