SpraySeeMOFrom October 13–18 of 2025, the streets of Kansas City came alive in a dazzling display of public art during the seventh season of the SpraySeeMO Mural Festival. SpraySeeMO+1

This festival is a celebration of creativity, community and urban identity — walls across the city become canvases, and local residents, visitors, and art lovers are invited to witness the transformation. The event is supported by the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund. The lineup includes dozens of national and international muralists.

Why this festival matters

  • It brings world-class artists to KC: the festival started in 2017 and has grown into a major mural event.
  • It helps connect local neighborhoods with public art — walls that might otherwise go unnoticed become landmarks.
  • For the city, it’s a boost for culture, tourism, and community pride.

Meet the Artist: Sergio Arce

SpraySeeMOSergio Arce, also known by his alias “Registered Artist,” is a Miami-based urban pop muralist whose work crosses continental and cultural borders — from Florida to Mexico, and beyond.

A quick look at his background

  • His murals “can be seen all over Miami and Florida, plus around the country and globe in places such as Mexico, Kansas City, New Orleans, and NYC.”
  • He uses bold color, stylized figures, and mixes pop-art influences with street-art energy.
  • He’s participated in community-focused art projects (for example, a mural at a school in Ithaca).

His role in SpraySeeMO

Sergio was listed among the lineup for the 2025 Volume 2 festival, indicating that he is part of the wave of artists painting during Oct 13–19 in KC.  This is the second year Kenton Brothers Systems for Security has donated a wall to a talented artist to create a statement piece.

This makes his work especially significant for the festival, as he brings a strong international perspective into the Kansas City mural scene.

Another one of the standout pieces during last year’s jasonestival is Sergio Arce’s mural located at 4100 block of Truman Road in Kansas City.

What to look for

  • The mural is large and attention-grabbing — as Sergio himself noted, “after… nine intense and unforgettable weeks I’m proud to share the completion of this massive 36,000 sq. ft. mural in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri.” Location meets scale: Truman Road is a major thoroughfare, so the mural is likely highly visible.
  • Artist pedigree: Sergio brings his global experience and pop-art sensibility.

The SpraySeeMO Mural Festival (Oct 13–19, 2025) offered an immersive experience of public art in Kansas City — walls transform, artists converge, and the city’s visual landscape evolves. Among these, Sergio Arce’s murals on Truman Road stand out as a flagship piece: bold, large-scale, and culturally resonant.
