Kenton Brothers: Jessica WrightIf you’ve called Kenton Brothers for service, then you’ve probably talked to Jessica Wright.

Jessica started in February this year as our Junior Field Service Coordinator. She came to Kenton Brothers as someone new to this industry, but she has really embraced the KB way. When asked what she likes about working at Kenton Brothers she said, “I love that we’re family oriented. We don’t judge each other. We all work together to build each other up as a team, rather than working for one person’s glory.”

Jessica is originally from the Kansas City area, but has moved all over. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, reading, and running. Here at KB, we like to tease Jessica over her love of dinosaurs and the movie Jurassic Park. We should have gotten her one of those T-Rex costumes for Halloween!

Jessica also values spending time with family, specifically her Grandmother and sharing all the enjoyment of chicken farming.

Jessica has been a fantastic addition to Kenton Brothers and with her can do attitude and always giving 110% effort in everything she does she has quickly become a valued and dependable part of the team that we are so glad to have!

Employee Spotlight: Todd Fletcher, Security Consultant

Kenton Brothers: Todd FletcherWe’ve recently welcomed many new faces to the Kenton Brothers team! We want to debut one of our newest Security Consultants, Todd Fletcher. An Alumni from Northwest Missouri State University, Todd has over twenty years of experience in sales in the Midwest. Originally, Todd started his career working with hospitals, starting his morning with visits to the operating rooms, but eventually saw the excitement and growth in IT and transitioned to commercial security solutions. With valuable expertise and experience in Access Control and IP Video Surveillance, Todd will be a fresh eye for security solutions to our existing customers as well as an expert for our new customers to count on.

Enjoying Both Sides of Missouri Life

Todd is originally from Iowa but has relocated to the Kansas City area with his wife, Angie, his son Jacob, and his youngest daughter Abagail. His oldest daughter Emily is happily married in Iowa. True to his Midwest roots, Todd enjoys life outside the city family with a large extended family of farm pets, including two horses, two dogs, two cats, two ducks, and forty-four chickens!

We are lucky to have this good ole’ country boy on our team and are looking forward to his future success.

Employee Spotlight: Drake Hallum, Locksmith Apprentice

Kenton Brothers: Drake HallumDrake Hallum joined Kenton Brothers as apart of our Locksmith Apprenticeship program.

Drake has completed his first 90 days of training and is still thoroughly glad he made the decision to go after this career! Drake’s interest in information technology and mechanical work was developed through his father and uncle. They work in similar industries. The mechanical work creates a continuous learning challenge that Drake enjoys. Drake specifically enjoys re-keying and the general concept of learning new skills each and every day.

In addition to being a Kenton Brothers Locksmith Apprentice, Drake is a part time firefighter and EMT. He enjoys being active in his local church with his girlfriend Alyssa and daughter Brooklynn.

We’re happy to have Drake as apart of the team and look forward to watching him grow and develop!

Employee Spotlight: Alex Holladay

Kenton Brothers: Alex HolladayAlex Holladay has joined Kenton Brothers as the “Doors, Frames and Hardware Guy”. He has a clearly defined mission of expanding our presence in new construction contracts for full service doors, frames and hardware solutions.

Alex originally worked in a warehouse as a welder and delivery individual for a local door company. He was approached when his dedication was noticed to be higher than others. They asked if he would like to try a crack at sales. He found he was really good at sales and enjoyed the challenges that sales brought. He loved creating solutions and solving problems with contractors.

Thoroughness and a great eye for the detail has enabled Alex to create excellent client relations. There are so many details in a given project. One oversight can really impact the other contractors on a project.

Alex is happily married to his wife Amy, and has three beautiful daughters Sydney, Lillian and Ally Mae. They enjoy outdoor hiking, watching Green Bay Packers Football, Girl Scouting and Volleyball as a family. Alex also has a majestic Alaskan malamute named Odin whom he enjoys spending time with.

Employee Spotlight: John Bushey

John Bushey is one of Kenton Brothers newest Field Services Technicians.

John moved to Kansas City from Minnesota for two key purposes, first to expand his locksmith and security skills and secondly to explore REAL Bar-B-Que! He was originally drawn to the communication and security field because he saw a lot of loose ends in the industry and thought his love of producing a high quality and standard of work would be but to the best use and most appreciated in this industry.

As a child, John enjoyed tinkering with machines and motors, learning how they worked and the chain of components for how the functioned. He has carried this love into his career with each task he sets forth to accomplish. John is married and has two daughters, he enjoys watching and supporting their lyrical competitive dance competitions, perfecting his BBQ recipes and judging (with honors of being an American Royal BBQ judge!)

We’re so excited to have John represent and be a part of the Kenton Brothers team!
